My name is Joseph “JJ” Tafoya, a tattoo artist from Albuquerque, New Mexico. I got into tattooing through my aunt who used to give me tattoos growing up. That’s what sparked my love for tattoos and drawing. Over time that passion turned into me wanting to create tattoos myself, so I decided to pursue tattooing and give it a real shot. Now I focus on creating clean black and gray tattoos and custom designs while continuing to grow as an artist and build my name in the tattoo community.
